Just as we are committed to providing our adoption candidates with the finest sugar gilder joeys, we are equally committed to placing our joeys with dedicated owners in responsible homes. Our sugar glider joeys are available for adoption by loving pet owners only.  To ensure good homes, all prospective adoption candidates are required to complete our application process including, but not limited to: personal information, landlord authorization, a veterinary reference, proof of basic sugar glider knowledge, and an adoption contract.  We reserve the right to deny any adoption, without explanation, at any time prior to signing the adoption contract by electing to refund all money previously received toward the joey.

Our sugar glider joeys will not be held until a $75 deposit is received.  Deposits will only be accepted from approved candidates after  the joey is out of pouch (oop).  All deposits are non-refundable.  Our joeys do not leave their mothers until 10 weeks oop, or until they are fully weaned, whichever is longer.  All males in related male-female pairs must be neutered at the new owners expense prior to leaving our possession.  Prospective owners are encouraged to visit their new adoptees by appointment at Glider Grove.  However, payment in full is required before you can take your baby glider home and prior to us shipping your new joey.  Personal checks are not accepted.  

All sugar glider joey adoptions, that do not require shipping, must be completed within 2 weeks of  weaning.  After the 2-week time period has ended, any deposit on the joey will then be considered forfeited and the joey will be offered to the next eligible candidate on our waiting list.  We prefer not to ship our joeys.  However, if shipping should be necessary, we insist on shipping safely. As for sugar glider joey adoptions that do require shipping, they must be completed within 1 month of  weaning.  After the 1-month time period has passed, any deposit on the joey will then be considered forfeited and the joey will be offered to the next eligible candidate on our waiting list.
